Overview
Your username is used to access MSC systems and is not the same as your email address.


Username Format
Your username is typically constructed as:

  • First 4 letters of your last name

  • Last 4 digits of your student/user ID

  • E.g. John Smith with ID ending in 1234 → SMIT1234


Important Notes

  • Your username is assigned automatically and cannot be chosen or changed manually

  • It is not the same as your email address

  • If your name or student record changes, your username may be updated

  • New accounts may take 24–48 hours to fully appear in all systems
