Overview
If you see a message indicating your account is locked or you have exceeded the number of allowed login attempts, your account has been temporarily restricted for security reasons.

This can happen after multiple incorrect password entries or repeated failed login attempts.

What to Do

  1. Wait and try again later

    • Some accounts will automatically unlock after a short period of time

  2. Reset your password

  3. If you are still locked out, submit a ticket or contact the IT Help Desk

Notes

  • Password resets do not always immediately resolve account lockouts if the lock is active at the authentication level

  • Repeated login attempts while locked may extend the lockout period

  • If you recently changed your password, ensure you are not using an old saved password in your browser or device
