What This System Is Used For
ShoreTel phones are used for:
Making and receiving phone calls
Internal extension-to-extension calling
Accessing voicemail services
Managing basic call functions (hold, transfer, conference)
Basic Phone Functions
Place a call by dialing an extension or external number
Answer incoming calls using the handset or speakerphone
Use the hold function to temporarily pause a call
Transfer calls to another extension when needed
Access voicemail using the voicemail button or dial-in method
What to Expect
Phones are assigned to specific users or locations
Functionality may vary slightly depending on device model or department configuration
Some features may require system provisioning or department-level setup
Important Notes
ShoreTel phones are managed by institutional IT services
Users do not configure system settings on the device
Extension assignments are controlled centrally and may change based on role or department
