Overview
If you’ve forgotten your password or it is no longer valid, you can reset it using your username. A password reset link will be sent to your personal email address on file with the institution.


Reset Your Password

  1. Navigate to an MSC SSO system in your browser

  2. Click Forgot Password

  3. Enter your username (Do not enter your full email address)

  4. Submit your request


Check Your Email

  • A password reset link will be sent to your personal email address on file

  • Open the email and click the link to reset your password

  • Follow the prompt on the page to create a new password

If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder


Password Requirements

  • Minimum length: 6

  • Must include a combination of:

    • Uppercase letters (A–Z)

    • Lowercase letters (a–z)

    • Numbers (0–9)

    • Special characters

  • Cannot match your previous passwords


Notes

  • After a password reset, you will need to forget MSC WiFi networks and reconnect
  • SSO password resets will only affect your password for SSO systems
